PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

About this mould

Flat steel formwork is the workhorse of concrete construction: standard panels that combine into any wall length and strip cleanly, cycle after cycle. Panel flatness and edge accuracy decide the concrete finish.

Zhongbian builds panels from Q235 plate, 3–6 mm thick, with fully welded channel or flat back ribs and quick-connect clamps. Tie-hole positions follow the customer wall layout, and panels from the same batch interchange.

Panels are stackable for transport and storage, making export packing efficient. Standard panel sizes ship in 7–10 working days.

ADVANTAGES

Why buyers choose this mould

Modular panels, unlimited wall length

Standard modules join with wedges and ties, so wall length is set by the number of panels rather than by special pieces. Odd corners are closed with standard corner units and infill.

Ribs at 250 mm pitch

Back ribs at 250 mm keep the casting face flat between tie positions and let each panel span a wider pour without bulging. This is the spacing used in standard flat formwork design.

Tie holes on a fixed grid

Flange holes are 22 mm diameter on a 100 mm grid, 50 mm from the panel edge. Ties and accessories you already own often fit without adapters, which keeps the switch to a new supplier simple.

Quoted as a complete wall system

Ties, wedges, push pull props, corner units and clamps can be priced together with the panels, so one shipment delivers everything the site needs to start casting.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Where it works

Flat formwork serves mass concrete walls, retaining walls, abutments, culverts, water conservancy structures and general civil works where repeated wall pours are scheduled.

Walls, slabs and foundations. Basements, retaining walls, raft edges, boundary walls and equipment plinths are all cast with the same panel set. Panels are light enough to be handled by hand or a small crane on tight urban sites.

Repetitive precast production. In a casting yard one panel set runs for months, so a flat panel system is normally bought in the quantity needed to fill the tables rather than to fill one wall.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you inquire

What panel sizes are available?
Standard modules interlock into any wall length; custom widths and tie-hole grids are built to your drawing at no design surcharge.
Do you supply accessories?
Ties, wedges, push-pull props, corner units and clamps can be quoted together with the panels as a complete wall system.
What is the lead time?
Standard panels ship in 7–10 working days; custom panels with special tie layouts take 15–25 days.
Can your panels be combined with another system?
Usually yes. The tie hole grid follows the common 100 mm spacing with 22 mm holes. Send the accessories you already own and we will confirm compatibility against our tie drawing before quoting.
How heavy is a single panel?
Weight scales with face size and rib construction. Most standard modules are a two person or small crane lift. We list the weight of each module in the quotation so handling can be planned before delivery.
How are panel edges protected in transit?
Edges are protected, then panels are stacked rib to rib in timber crates, banded and covered with waterproof film. This is the standard packing for sea freight and keeps the casting faces free of shipping damage.
